Services
Intensive Short Term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
This is an evidence-based psychotherapy wherein your concerns are understood, all your defenses are dodged and you are brought in touch with your affect/deeper emotions.
Individual Long term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
In long-term dynamic therapy, you are understood as a person in their own right with the help of in-detailed case history and your symptoms are seen in the developmental context as communicating your unconscious motives, repressed emotions, affects and drives.
How Does this Process Work?

From session 1 through 4, the therapist will take your in-detailed case history, understanding childhood, adolescents through adulthood with all nuances. The therapist will also explore your understanding of the role of therapy and the therapist. This understanding will help the therapist to formulate your case and appreciate the dynamics being played out currently. This is a phase where you and the therapist get to build a trusting therapeutic relationship.
This is an intense phase where the therapist will hold non-judgemental and warm regard for your unfolding emotions, will reflect back some unconscious desires/emotions, bring attention to repetitive patterns in your life and meanings of the symptoms that the person is experiencing is explicated. This phase may bring out repressed, deeper emotions towards various events and figures in life and the therapist will be the facilitative agent in working through them.
After having worked through all the difficult emotions and repressed content, the therapist and you may mutually decide on phasing out therapy and slowly move towards termination. By this stage, you have an enriched understanding about your own unconscious dynamics and emotions.
